Location

Verbier is in Switzerland, close to the French border. It is 90 mins from Geneva Airport and 60 mins from Chamonix in France.
Verbier is the primary resort in the 4 Vallees ski-area and is situated in a natural south facing bowl with the main skiing areas above and behind. At 1500m Verbier is a high resort that stays above the winter cloud and is therefore sunny for most of the year. The pisted skiing is from 3500m down to the valley floor (when conditions allow) so the altitude of the main skiing area virtually guarantees excellent snow conditions for the whole season.

Verbier is a traditional Swiss village that has grown sympathetically to meet the demands of skiers from all over the world who are drawn to its reputation as one of the best, if not the best, resort in the world! Consequently the architecture is based on traditional Swiss chalet designs and new buildings blend in well with the original core village. Verbier also manages the difficult balance of combining the charm of a traditional resort with an après-ski to suit all tastes.

The Antika apartment is located in a large chalet that was built as 10 separate apartments. The chalet is located on the southern edge of Verbier so there are no immediate buildings to obscure the view. Here the ground drops away steeply so the views are truly spectacular. Straight ahead are the Petit and Grand Combin, towering over the Bruson ski-area. To the right is the Mont Blanc massif with its collection of 4000m peaks.

The centre of Verbier is only 5 mins walk away, as is the main (Medran) ski-lift station. A free ski-bus also stops 1 minute from the apartment to access all the main ski-stations. Due to its position, the apartment has the unusual combination of being close to the buzzing centre of Verbier but remaining blissfully quiet at all times of the day or night.
